How we built this list
We pulled every 2026 recall from the CPSC recall database whose title mentions a tower or step stool for children, as of October 24, 2026, and excluded unrelated products. Unit counts, incident reports, remedies and retailers are quoted from each CPSC notice; we removed prices. Click any product to read the full notice, including photos and model numbers. The recall notices we reviewed don't cite a mandatory federal standard for toddler towers; they describe hazards found in specific products.

How to check whether yours is recalled
- Find the brand, model number and date code on the product or box, then open the matching CPSC notice linked in the table; each notice describes exactly which units are included.
- Search the full CPSC list at CPSC.gov/Recalls for anything not shown here; this page covers 2026 notices we pulled on October 24, 2026.
- Bought it from an online marketplace? Many of these recalls name a specific seller. Check your order history for the seller name shown in the notice.
- Don't resell, donate or give away a recalled tower. Follow the disposal step in the notice.
- Had a problem with a product that isn't recalled? Report it at SaferProducts.gov.
If you own a recalled tower
- Stop using it now and store it where children can't climb it; most notices say this first.
- Repair-kit recalls (Boon PIVOT, Cosyland, Guidecraft, HARPPA, Woodure, Mangohood): contact the company named in the notice for the free part and instructions, then reassemble exactly as directed.
- Refund recalls (SDADI, TOETOL HOME, Wiifo, AMZCMJ DGD): you'll typically be asked to disassemble or destroy the stool and send a photo before getting a refund.
- Not sure which model you have? Compare photos in the CPSC notice and check labels under the platform or on the side rails.
Using any toddler tower more safely
See our kitchen baby-proofing guide for more.
- Stay within arm's reach whenever your child is standing in it; the recalls involve falls during use.
- Check bolts and the standing platform before each use; Guidecraft's defect was a platform that loosened over time.
- Place it on a flat, non-slip floor, never on a rug edge, and push it flush against the counter.
- Keep it away from the stove, knives, hot liquids and appliances.
- Teach "feet on the platform": no climbing on rails or leaning out.
- Follow the maker's age and weight limits, and register your product so the company can contact you about recalls.
