PILLANI Nursing Pillow and Harkla Swing Recalls: 6 Kids' Recalls From October 29, 2026
On October 29, 2026 the CPSC announced recalls of PILLANI nursing pillows, Harkla sensory swings, QZH.DUAO kids' pajamas, RootStim minoxidil bottles and two dressers. How to tell if yours is affected and what to do.
What parents should know
- PILLANI nursing pillows: stop using them now and contact PILLANI for a full refund. No injuries reported.
- Harkla sensory swings: stop using them until you install the free repair kit (new ceiling plate, safety strap and instructions).
- Jocoevol and SOOWERY dressers violate the STURDY Act tip-over standard. If yours isn't anchored, stop using it and keep children away.
- RootStim minoxidil bottles are not child-resistant; minoxidil can seriously poison a young child who swallows it.
- QZH.DUAO pajama sets (sizes 4-5T through 13-14) fail federal children's sleepwear flammability rules.
- Never let a baby sleep on a nursing pillow, recalled or not (AAP).

PILLANI nursing pillows: how to tell if yours is recalled
The recalled PILLANI pillows are U-shaped nursing pillows with a smaller pillow attached on top and an adjustable waist strap. They came in cloud and stars, wild animal, white with leaf and feather, stars, pink with leaf, light blue, pink, light yellow, gray, light gray, beige and light green. Check the attached label for the brand name, model number NP4351 and batch number 202604, 202605 or 202606.
CPSC says the pillows violate the federal nursing pillow standard (16 CFR 1242), which took effect April 23, 2025 and was written to reduce suffocation deaths. Harkla sensory swings: the repair
Only Harkla compression swings with a blue fabric seat and a four-hole ceiling hook are included. The SKU LS-COMP-1BLU or LS-COMP-1BLU-SW is printed on the side of the box. Harkla is sending a free repair kit with a replacement ceiling hook mounting plate, a safety strap and new installation instructions. Register at harkla.co/pages/ceiling-hook-recall-2026, call 844-442-7552 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT weekdays) or email recall@harkla.co. Don't use the swing until the repair is installed.
These swings are popular with families of children who have sensory processing differences or autism, so if your child's therapist or school uses one, it's worth passing this along.
Dressers: anchor everything
The Jocoevol dressers carry model number C-0633 on a label inside the top left drawer; the SOOWERY dressers have SKU SOO-8DD-G01 on the packaging. Both fail the STURDY Act tip-over standard. RootStim minoxidil: why it matters for toddlers
Minoxidil was first developed as a blood pressure medicine, and swallowing the topical liquid or foam can cause low blood pressure and a racing heart in a small child. That is why federal law requires child-resistant packaging for it. The recall covers RootStim 5% foam (6 fl. oz., UPC 810169130594), the 2 fl. oz. spray (UPC 810169301005) and the 4 fl. oz. serum (UPC 810169301012). Lock it away now and contact RootStim for a replacement.
How to check any product
- Match the model, batch, SKU or UPC to the CPSC notice; recalls usually cover specific units.
- Check your Amazon order history: all six of these were sold on Amazon.
- Search CPSC.gov/Recalls for anything else you own, and report problems at SaferProducts.gov.
- Babies sleep on their backs, alone, on a firm flat surface with no pillows (AAP, 2022). Nursing pillows are for supervised, awake feeding only.
